It seems that Google really is branching out into a full operating system, potentially measurable the likes of Microsoft Windows, and may have an edge on Linux, except that Google Chrome OS will be browser-based, which for basic PC/Mac users, means, 1.) easy access - anyone with the internet can have this OS, and 2.) it will be "user-friendly"- since people can get along without being computer literate anyway. I'm sure it means much more as well...
like potential world domination once they get into the homes of everyone.
